IMRT
The technology used at the Centre allows the intensity of the beams to be modulated (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy - IMRT), so that the dose can be distributed optimally, targeting the tumour tissue with the maximum amount of radiation and the healthy tissue surrounding the tumour with the minimum intensity.
